Former Beverly Hills 90210 star Tori Spelling has signed a deal to write her memoirs, due out in the spring of 2008.
The 33-year-old actress, who is expecting her first child with husband Dean McDermott, has not yet informed her family, with whom she’s had a tense relationship, about the book.
The star has reportedly been estranged from her mother Candy, and describes her relationship with her brother Randy as “OK”.
“I hope that it doesn’t cause more damage. Randy’s kind of caught in the middle because he has a very close relationship with my mother and a very close relationship with me,” she told USA Today.
As for her mother, she says, “I wish things were different. My mother and I have always had a difficult relationship. There has always been love, and I don’t doubt now that there’s love.
Among the topics she plans to cover in the book are plastic surgery, past relationships, and her treatment in her father Aaron Spelling’s last will and testament.
When the TV mogul died in June, he left behind an estate estimated to be worth more than $300 million, but Tori reportedly received “less than $1 million”.
She adds, “You have to take everything with a grain of salt. I’m not ashamed to admit that circumstances have changed, and you work with things the best you can.”
