Gwyneth Paltrow is known for her red carpet sense of style – and her latest effort for this year’s Emmy Awards was no exception.
The actress turned up at the glittering ceremony – which is the TV equivalent of the Oscars – wearing a striking black lace dress which showed a hint of bare midriff through a sheer panel.
And even she admitted that the frock, by designer label Pucci, might have been a bit too daring for its own good.
“It’s a little see-through, I’m realising,” she admitted to TV presenter Ryan Seacrest as she stood under bright lights on the red carpet.
However, it didn’t take Paltrow long to decide on her dress for the event, revealing that it was one of only two she tried on ahead of the big night.
The actress attended the ceremony to present the award for best comedy series, which was one of five prizes given to the hit show Modern Family.
And she is no stranger to winning Emmys herself – having picked up the gong for best guest actor in a comedy show for her appearance in Glee, at a separate ceremony last weekend.
