A Jewish student studying for her A Levels could become the next Miss England and represent her country at the annual Miss World competition.
Radlett and Bushey Reform Synagogue member Samantha Freedman was one of 200 hopefuls to enter the local Miss Hertfordshire contest where one local lovely will get the chance to compete in Miss England.
After getting through the first round, 18-year-old Freedman will now take part in the final against 39 other hopefuls on May 28 at the Concert Hall at the Gordon Craig Theatre in Stevenage.
Creative Freedman, will be taking an art foundation course at Kingston University. “My talent lies within art, I love making and creating whether it be with paints, materials or make up,” she says.
Freedman, who stands 5feet 4inches added that she sees a career for herself in fashion once she completes her studies. “I would like to fulfill a course in fashion design, and to then go on to be a fashion designer.”
