Comedienne Sarah Silverman’s first ever UK gig failed to impress British comedy fans - she was booed after cutting her much-hyped set in half.
The US funnywoman’s sarcastic style was expected to win over the British audience at her London stand-up debut at the weekend.
But her set soon turned sour, after the warm-up act cancelled its slot and Silverman rushed through a short 40 minute performance.

Celebrity DJ/producer Mark Ronson has confirmed he and Amy Winehouse are to record a new version of Lesley Gore’s You Don’t Own Me for a new Quincy Jones tribute album.
The new collaboration will be the first thing the pair has worked on together since they attempted to create the perfect Bond theme for the new 007 movie Quantum of Solace this summer - Jack White and Alicia Keys eventually landed the song.

Zac Efron celebrated turning 21 with a dinner party attended by friends, family and his girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens.
The High School Musical hunk came of age on Saturday and enjoyed a two hour meal at Los Angeles’ Pace restaurant with pals including Disney co-stars Ashley Tisdale and Monique Coleman.
Amanda Bynes, Brittany Snow, Michelle Trachtenberg and singing sisters Aly and AJ Michalka were also in attendance at the party, according to People.com.

Rocker Billy Joel and his chef wife Katie Lee are such big fans of America’s Thanksgiving holiday they’ve already celebrated - over a month early.
The couple had their Thanksgiving, surrounded by family and friends, at the beginning of October - because Joel will be on tour in Australia at the end of November, when the official Thanksgiving Day is celebrated across the US.
