Paul Simon’s son Adrian is rapidly following in his father’s footsteps - the 15 year old has finished recording his first album with a band of New York high school friends.
The eldest son of Simon and Edie Brickell has formed The Ivy League with pals Alex Beer, Dan Hockstein and Drew Abramowitz after meeting at school - the same way Paul Simon met longtime singing partner Art Garfunkel.

American Idol judge Paula Abdul has spoken out about her “concerns” over the hiring of songwriter Kara Dioguardi as the show’s new expert.
Grammy-winner DioGuardi will join original judges Abdul, Simon Cowell and Randy Jackson on the hit US talent show when its eighth season kicks off next year.
The songwriter and producer is a stand-out talent in the music industry - writing hit tracks for superstars including Britney Spears, Celine Dion and Christina Aguilera.
