Amy Winehouse has reportedly received a personal call from former South African President Nelson Mandela to ask her to perform at his 90th birthday.

The ex-politician called the Back To Black star to invite her to sing at his birthday concert in London’s Hyde Park in June.

The 24-year-old didn’t believe it was Mandela initially - but as soon as she realised it wasn’t a prank she accepted his offer.

Celebrity chef Jessica Seinfeld has denied claims she stole recipes from fellow cook Missy Chase Lapine to use in her own book.

Lapine sued Seinfeld and her comedian husband Jerry earlier this year for copyright infringement and defamation.

Lapine claimed the recipes in Jessica Seinfeld’s best selling cookbook Deceptively Delicious are “brazenly plagiarised” from those in her own book, The Sneaky Chef: Simple Strategies For Hiding Healthy Foods In Kids’ Favourite Meals.

The actress’s representative Marcel Pariseau confirmed the news to People.com, revealing, “They’re both thrilled.”

Hollywood actress Gwyneth Paltrow wants more children with her husband rocker Chris Martin.

The 35-year-old loves being a mum to her daughter Apple, four, and one-year-old Moses - but she claims she wants to add another kid to her growing brood.

She said: “They’re (Moses and Apple) very sweet. It’s nice to have one of each and maybe have another one, too… who knows?”

The former Powder singer - who is married to Supergrass rocker Danny Goffey - told reporters at a charity event in London on Tuesday that she approves of her daughter’s new man.

She said: “When she told me she was with Mark I said, ‘Wow, he’s cute.’ She just said ‘Mummy’ in a scolding tone.”
