Celebrated composer Danny Elfman has landed the magical job of turning illusionist Harry Houdini’s life into a stage musical.
Elfman, who has been moviemaker Tim Burton’s longtime musical partner for films like The Nightmare Before Christmas and Charlie + The Chocolate Factory and the creator of both The Simpsons and Desperate Housewives themes, will create the music for the new Jack O’Brien production.
