Natalie Portman has teamed up with Devendra Banhart to star in the cult musician’s new video.

Portman filmed her starring role in the video for Banhart’s Carmensita, a track from his 2007 album Smokey Rolls Down Thunder Canyon, last month.

Last year, Banhart appeared on a Portman compilation album to raise money for charity FINCA International, an organisation that provides financial services to low-income entrepreneurs.

Superproducer Mark Ronson is so terrified at the prospect of going bald he refuses to cut his hair off.

The musician previously sported a close-shaved do in his 20s, but insists he won’t ever revert back to his old style in case incase his follicles don’t re-sprout.

The 32-year-old revealed: “I loved having short hair, but I was 26 and now I’m 32. I’m not sure I could shave it off again - I’m scared it might not grow back.”

Kiss star Gene Simmons has refused to enter into a war of words with Sharon Osbourne after the rock matriarch called him “a silly man in a silly wig,” insisting he loves Ozzy’s bride.

Osbourne made her disparaging public remark about Simmons during her husband’s recent Australian tour.

She said: “Gene’s a prat. He’s just a silly man in a silly wig.”
