Silverstone Denies Quitting Because Of Spears

Alicia Silverstone is laughing off reports she pulled out of a role in US sitcom How I Met Your Mother after learning she’d be appearing opposite Britney Spears.
Spears plays a receptionist/secretary in an upcoming episode of the show, and insiders claim her boss was supposed to be the big screen’s one-time Batgirl.
But Silverstone’s publicist Elizabeth Much insists the actress’ links to the TV show ended long before Spears’ name was even mentioned.

Scarlett Johansson has sparked a bidding frenzy on auction website eBay.com after offering fans the chance to accompany her to a future movie premiere.
More than 161 people have bid on the date, with over a million interested parties visiting the site.
The top bid has reached $38,200. The 10-day auction ends later today.
The lucky winner will accompany the star to the premiere of her forthcoming movie He’s Just Not That Into You in Los Angeles in June next year.
Spelling Confirms Boob Job

Actress Tori Spelling has finally admitted to having a boob job.
The 34-year-old, who has also had surgery on her nose, has revealed she had the breast augmentation to put an end to speculation about the size of her chest.
She says: “(I had) a boob job. There it is. I finally said it. I wanted to come clean that I had my boobs done in my 20s, because people falsely write that I’ve had all those things done. I’ve had the two procedures that probably every other woman in Hollywood has had done.”

Singer Leonard Cohen is to embark on a world tour later this year - his first in 15 years.
The Canadian star’s tour will kick off on 6 June in his native Toronto and will include dates in London; Oslo, Sweden; Lisbon, Portugal; Nice, France; Prague, Czech Republic, and Istanbul, Turkey, before concluding Vienna, Austria on 29 August.

Rocker Gene Simmons made a Kiss superfan’s dreams come true on Tuesday - by presenting him with a table lamp.
Simmons made a surprise appearance on US TV show Rachael Ray to present a fan called Alex with the rare gift - a Kiss-themed lamp.
Earlier in the show, Ray had an interior designer reorganise Alex’s ‘Kiss room’ in his house, only for the clumsy decorator to accidentally break one of his prized Kiss memorabilia.
