An Israeli musician has made it to the shortlist of 10 in a competition to find the best busker in London.
Hadar Manor, who has been based in London for five years, is looking to be crowned the Queen of the Underground which comes with a £5,000 prize as well as an opportunity to perform a gig for radio station Capital 95.8.

Filmmaker Eran Kolirin’s debut feature, The Band’s Visit, is a pleasant surprise amongst this season of films, a subtle smile, which ultimately gives way to a heartfelt and moving experience.
The film tells the story of a police orchestra from Egypt who come to Israel only to make a wrong turn and end up in a remote desert town, where cultures clash in a forgotten place void of culture.

Amy Winehouse stole the show at the 50th Grammy Awards, winning five top honours.
Winehouse picked up all but one of the awards she was nominated for - Record of the Year for Rehab; Album of the Year for Back to Black; Best New Artist; Best Pop Vocal Album for Back to Black; Song of the Year for Rehab; and Best Female Vocal Performance for Rehab.

Rocker Lenny Kravitzs’ new album lifts the lid on his rift with his late father.
The singer left the family home when he was just 15 because he couldn’t bear to watch his dad Sy regularly cheat on his mother.
He said: “We never saw eye to eye and I moved out when I was 15. I was a mama’s boy, and his infidelities were something I took personally.”
Shatner Has Not Watched Star Trek In Years

Former Star Trek star William Shatner has not seen the TV show which made him famous.
The 76-year-old refuses to watch himself onscreen because he believes “(he) sucks” at acting in the popular sci-fi series.
He said: “I never watched Star Trek and I have not even seen any of the Star Trek movies. I don’t watch them myself. When I direct and have to look at filmed scenes of myself, I suck.”

Kiss star Gene Simmons insists there is nothing he won’t do for his reality TV show, because he’s unashamed to reveal his life on camera.
The legendary rocker and his partner Shannon Tween were recently criticised for undergoing facelifts onscreen as part of the fly-on-the-wall series Gene Simmons Family Jewels.
But Simmons has no regrets about sharing his private life with the world.
