Kravitz Mistaken For Marley

Rocker Lenny Kravitz once chastised a woman who mistook him for reggae legend Bob Marley - who had died nine years previously.

The Are You Gonna Go My Way singer admits he’s often recognised as other celebrities, although he’s learned to accept this is a consequence of being famous.

But he was left open-mouthed in 1990 when a passer-by identified him as Marley - who famously lost his battle with cancer in 1981.

Allen Signs New Film Deal

Woody AllenFilm director Woody Allen has signed a three-year deal with a Spanish distribution company to finance production on three of his films in the European country.

The prolific filmmaker struck the pact with the Spain-based Mediapro company after completing filming on romantic comedy Vicky Cristina Barcelona in the city of Barcelona last year. The movie deal will begin in 2009.

Streisand Wants Sunset Role

Barbra StreisandVeteran actresses Glenn Close and Barbra Streisand are battling it out to land the lead role in the Sunset Boulevard remake, according to composer Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber.

The theatre impresario - who wrote the music for his stage adaptation of the 1950 movie classic - has unveiled Close and Streisand as the front-runners to portray diva Norma Desmond, insisting they’re both desperate to win the part.

No Celebs For Ronson

Mark RonsonSuper producer Mark Ronson has snubbed his celebrity fans - by vowing never to play live for a famous audience.

The star - who worked extensively with Amy Winehouse on Back To Black - insists he’s tired of being lauded by A-list stars.

He said: “People come up to me and they’re like, ‘Natalie Portman’s at the door’, and I’m like, ‘She can’t come in, I don’t play for celebrities anymore’.”

Rachel BilsonFormer The OC actress Rachel Bilson suffered every tourist’s worst nightmare in Egypt over the weekend when she arrived in Egypt without her luggage.

The pretty star’s belongings were lost en route to the Middle East, where she is promoting new sci-fi film Jumper this week.

“I think they were holding my stuff hostage because they knew some clothes, maybe, were a little nice… I got it at five in the morning. It was a close call,” she revealed.
