Former pop star Paula Abdul is set to make a musical comeback by releasing a new album.
The Straight Up singer has recorded new single Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow for fellow American Idol judge Randy Jackson’s upcoming compilation of dance songs, Randy Jackson’s Music Club, Vol. 1 - and was so thrilled to be in the studio again, she decided to lay down an entire album of tracks.

Troubled songstress Amy Winehouse has been admitted to hospital after suffering “dangerous levels” of dehydration following her battle to kick her drugs habit.
The Back to Black hitmaker has been seeking treatment at a rehabilitation centre for a week, but was admitted to the private London Clinic on Wednesday evening under a false name.
A source told The Sun: ”Amy was looking very pale and thin. She looked ropey and exhausted. Let’s hope she hasn’t taken a turn for the worse.”

Late chess legend Bobby Fischer’s Cold War showdown with Russian player Boris Spassky is to be documented in a new Hollywood movie.
The American-born former world champion passed away earlier this month at his home in Iceland, aged 64.
Fischer, regarded by many as the greatest chess player of all time, made headlines after beating reigning champion Spassky in the tense battle in 1972.

Tim Burton and Helena Bonham Carter have named their six-week-old daughter Indiana Rose, according to reports.
The actress gave birth to the couple’s second child on 16 December, but have kept tight-lipped about the new tot’s name.
A spokesperson for the British star refused to confirm the news, but confessed to WENN, “It’s probably likely.”

Rocker Lenny Kravitz almost quit music for life in the Brazilian jungle after his last album failed to perform as well as he’d hoped.
After spending two years promoting 2004’s Baptism, Kravitz flew to Brazil to perform at the Rio De Janeiro leg of the Live Earth concerts in July 2007 and then took time out from his busy schedule to do some soul-searching.
