Troubled songstress Amy Winehouse has a found an unlikely fan in Karl Lagerfeld - the fashion designer has likened the star to Brigitte Bardot and hailed her as a “style icon”.
Lagerfeld admires the Rehab hitmaker for her bold, beehived-shaped hairstyle, and even recreated the style on the models at his recent Chanel show in London.

Amy Winehouse’s father is furious with his ex-wife for suggesting the singer has been abandoned by her family in her time of need - insisting he has been by the star’s side throughout her recent ordeal.
The Rehab hitmaker sparked fresh fears for her health last week after she was pictured wandering the streets outside her London home in just a bra and jeans - and her mother, Janis, sent an open letter to the troubled singer pleading with her to “pick up the phone” and “come home”.
