Music promoter David Gest has hit back at claims his ex-wife Liza Minnelli abused him, insisting he is “not a wimp”.
The 54-year-old, who filed a lawsuit in October 2003 claiming Minnelli regularly beat him, insists his time in the Australian jungle for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! allowed him to prove his mettle.

Actress Halle Berry has been forced to issue a public apology after making an apparent anti-Semitic gaffe on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno.
During the taping for Friday’s show, the Oscar-winning star was showing Leno distorted images of herself on a computer, when she said: “Here’s where I look like my Jewish cousin!” as a picture of her with a large nose appeared.

Actress Gina Gershon is desperate to appear in a sequel to cult movie Bound - because she enjoyed filming the original so much.
The star insists all it would take is a call from directors Andy and Larry Wachowski for her to sign up to star in a follow-up to the 1996 crime thriller.
“I would love to do it. If they wrote it and said, ‘Do it,’ I’d do it in a second,” she says.

Hollywood actress Gina Gershon turned down the opportunity to work with pop superstar PRINCE - because he wanted to change her name.
The star, who is also an accomplished singer, admits she was asked by the star to appear on iconic 1984 album Purple Rain - but wasn’t prepared to swap her original moniker in exchange for singing stardom.
