Angel Teams Up With Geller

Uri Geller and Cameron Diaz’s reported ex-boyfriend Criss Angel have teamed up for a major new TV magic special.
The two illusionists will host new series The Search For The Next Phenomenon on US TV network NBC.
The primetime series will be Angel’s first project since he attempted to revamp Britney Spears’ live show for the MTV Video Music Awards.

Film director Michael Winner considered killing himself after contracting a rare virus that almost cost him a leg.
The 72-year-old fell ill after eating a bad oyster while celebrating Christma in Barbados, and then caught the MRSA super-bug while in hospital.
At one point doctor’s contemplated amputating his leg, something Winner refused to contemplate.
