Leonardo DiCaprio’s Israeli model girlfriend Bar Rafaeli is suing her country’s largest newspaper for libel.

The successful catwalk queen is fuming after newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth claimed the beauty was thrilled to have skipped national service.

She is alleged to have said: “I am not sorry for not serving in the army … Why is it good to die for our country? Isn’t it better to live in New York?”, reports the New York Daily News.

Scarlett JohanssonHollywood star Scarlett Johansson has hit out at inconsiderate fans who invade her privacy.

The actress claims fame brings out the worst in people, and their behaviour leaves her desperate to avoid being recognised.

“It’s weird to be a recognisable face. I find it can bring out the worst in humanity,” she says. “You’ll be having an intimate dinner with a friend and there’s somebody on the table behind with a camera phone pointing at your face. I would never take a photo of someone without asking.”

David Lee RothVan Halen frontman David Lee Roth celebrated his 53rd birthday on the road on Wednesday, as the reunited Van Halen performed in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Jump singer was treated to a guitar rendition of Happy Birthday from bandmate Eddie Van Halen as fans screamed well wishes.

Band leader Van Halen then told the singer: “Happy birthday Dave, I love you.”
