Yom Kippur On DVD

A Beverly Hills synagogue that counts many Hollywood stars as members and supporters including the parents of Ben Stiller as well as Angelina Jolie’s father Jon Voight, has released a Yom Kippur DVD that is being offered for free to anyone who has difficulty attending High Holiday services.
The Creative Arts Temple DVD is aimed at the elderly, disabled and anyone who cannot attend due to mobility problems and features a special 48-minute Kol Nidre service with a number of celebrities taking part.
Oscar-winning director Woody Allen is amazed he’s considered a legend of the movie business, because he doesn’t think his films have been influential.
The 71-year-old, who has three Academy Awards, always felt the movies of directors such as Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg appealed more to the next generation of filmmakers than his own.
Osbourne “Devastated” By Brother’s Betrayal

Sharon Osbourne is said to be furious with her brother David Arden’s sensational expose in a British tabloid on Sunday and is “devastated” by his betrayal, according to reports.
The rock matriarch is “disappointed” at Arden’s revelations in Sunday newspaper the News of the World, in which he claims Osbourne hated her fellow The X Factor judge Simon Cowell and was briefly fired from the British talent show for her constant gay jibes.
Friends star David Schwimmer struggled to keep focused whilst directing his new comedy film Run, Fat Boy, Run, because his stars were too funny.
Schwimmer directs Simon Pegg, Thandie Newton, Hank Azaria and Little Britain star David Walliams in the British movie.
He says: “I have a giggling problem. I lost it several times and messed up takes. David Walliams was doing a cameo and I exploded mid-scene.”
