Loud mouth US comedienne Sarah Silverman says she now regrets poking fun at jailbird Paris Hilton on the eve of her June stint in prison after watching footage of the MTV Movie Awards.

Silverman, who hosted the awards show, joked about Hilton’s prison term, while the hotel heiress was in the audience.

Superstar Barbra Streisand once abandoned her music career because she forgot the lines to her greatest hits live onstage.

The diva quit the music scene in the late 1960s following the incident and only returned three years later following the introduction of modern technology.

“I was once doing a concert in Central Park when I forgot the words to one of my songs,” she says. “It frightened me so much that I didn’t sing again in public for three years. Then, as soon as they invented the teleprompter, I came back.”

Uber-producer Rick Rubin is urging Mick Jagger to rethink the release of his Red Devils album - because it’s one of the best projects he has worked on.

Rubin produced Jagger’s supergroup in action in the early 1990s before the recording time became the Rolling Stones star’s 1992 solo album Wandering Spirit.

Jagger shelved the album, dubbed King King, and it has never been released.
