The 72-year-old was discharged from a London hospital last Friday almost six months after he was taken ill while celebrating Christmas in Barbados.
Winner was originally taken ill after eating an oyster in Barbados. While in hospital he contacted the MRSA super-bug.
The Death Wish film-maker is back at home and celebrating a new lease of life.
