Jewish Male Model Enters Big Brother

A former member of boy band Northern Line has become the second Jewish person to enter Big Brother and says he’s in it to win.
26-year-old Zachary Lichman, who was known as Zak in the band, and today is a model with the name Ziggy entered Channel 4’s Big Brother on Friday night.
The previous Jewish Big Brother contestant was Justine Sellman who appeared during the 2003 series.

Comedian Jon Lovitz has committed to appear at a Los Angeles comedy club - for the rest of his life.
The funnyman will perform at the Laugh Factory every Wednesday until his death.
“Who knows? I could become the Don Ho of Los Angeles. God knows I’ve got enough Hawaiian shirts.,” he says.

An 18-year-old Jewish student studying for her A Levels has taken another step closer for the chance to become the next Miss England and represent her country at the annual Miss World competition.
Radlett and Bushey Reform Synagogue member Samantha Freedman has been chosen to be Miss Hertfordshire and now gets the chance to compete in Miss England which takes place later this month.

Jazz songstress Amy Winehouse has hinted she’s set to quit the music business after just two albums - to devote her time to being a good wife and mum.
The Rehab singer, who wed boyfriend Blake Fielder-Civil in Miami, Florida last month has suggested she may never record another album or tour again - because now she wants to settle down with her husband and start a family.

Sir Elton John has hailed jazz songstress Amy Winehouse as “one of the greatest performers” he has ever seen.
The Rocket Man singer and his partner David Furnish were disappointed when the Rehab singer cancelled a concert at Shepherds Bush Empire in London on 8 March due to “unforeseen circumstances” - but they were finally given their chance to see Winehouse live on Monday night at the same venue.

American Idol judge Paula Abdul has been caught sobbing during a recent conference call, insisting her management have treated her badly.
In audio obtained by the New York Post, Abdul can been seen blasting former representative Howard Bragman - who she accuses of calling her “a whining bitch and a loser.”
