Amy Winehouse’s mother is refusing to endorse her daughter’s recent marriage as she’s yet to meet Blake Fielder-Civil properly.

The couple wed secretly in Miami, Florida, earlier this month without inviting any guests, much to the surprise of her parents Janis and Mitchell Winehouse.

But while her mum isn’t bearing a grudge over the non-invitation, she admits she’s unsure of Fielder-Civil’s relationship credentials; their relationship first ended 18 months ago when he cheated on the star.

Actress Natalie Portman’s publicist has fired back at reports the actress is upset she wasn’t invited to attend the 30th anniversary celebrations of Star Wars in Los Angeles.

British tabloids ran with the story yesterday, with Portman quoted as saying the apparent snub was “upsetting” as she would have loved to have been a part of the five-day Star Wars Celebration IV earlier this month.

Adam LevineMaroon 5 frontman Adam Levine is lucky to be alive after suffering a freak accident while working out backstage last year.

The This Love singer was rushed to hospital after lacerating his chest when a workout went awry.

“It was one of the most painful things I’ve ever experienced,” he told Blender magazine. “It was really an embarrassing story, but I might as well tell it - I was working out backstage with the kind of cable pulleys that you put onto a doorstop.”
