It seems that Joan Rivers has never been so in demand in the UK as she is at the moment.
The feisty senior citizen is spending a long weekend in London, during which time she performed at London’s G-A-Y club, appeared on Michael Parkinson’s ITV1 chat show along with fellow Semites Stephen Fry and George Michael, and glammed up as a guest as well as a prize presenter at the Bafta Television Awards.

Sexy actress Scarlett Johansson will star as tragic monarch, Mary, Queen of Scots in a new movie.
The Lost In Translation star, 22, will take the lead in director James Curran’s Mary, Queen of Scots - an historical epic about the 16th century Catholic ruler, who was beheaded at the age of 42 for attempting to take over the English throne from her Protestant cousin, Elizabeth I.
Winehouse Says Sorry To Sir Elton

Jazz songstress Amy Winehouse has apologised to Sir Elton John for cancelling one of her London gigs earlier this year, after the veteran rocker bought a ticket for the axed show.
John and partner David Furnish bought tickets for the 8 March concert at the Shepherds Bush Empire and were dismayed when Winehouse pulled the plug at the last minute, citing “unforeseen circumstances”.
Weinstein Protects Moore’s Sicko Flick

Movie mogul Harvey Weinstein has confirmed reports he is protecting Michael Moore’s latest movie Sicko from U.S. authorities.
The Oscar-winner’s latest documentary is an expose on the U.S. health care system and allegedly features a segment where Moore takes a group of former Ground Zero relief workers on a trip to Cuba.
Communist Cuba is under a trade embargo from the U.S. and most Americans are banned from travelling to the Caribbean island.
