Movie veteran Kirk Douglas’ main ambition for 2007 is to meet Hollywood star Angelina Jolie - but only if his wife gives him the green light.

The Spartacus star insists an introduction to Jolie would be the highlight of his 91st year, but agreed he would ask partner Anne for permission first.

He says: “I’d like to meet Angelina Jolie, if my wife approves.”
