Roxy Music frontman and current Marks & Spencer model, Bryan Ferry, has apologised for comments he made in which he praised the German Nazi regime as “really beautiful” and “just amazing”.

The 61-year-old singer, who has recently released a Bob Dylan covers album told German newspaper Welt Am Sonntag: “My dear gentlemen, the Nazis knew how to put themselves in the limelight and present themselves. Leni Riefenstahl’s movies and Albert Speer’s buildings and the mass parades and the flags - just amazing. Really beautiful.”
