Singer Songwriter Lucie Silvas is to support soul star Lionel Ritchie on his forthcoming tour of the UK in May.

The Breathe In performer who was born in the UK and raised in New Zealand recently released her second album The Same Side which achieved number 1 status in Spain and Holland, but barely scratched the UK album charts.

British songstress Amy Winehouse has finally revealed the reason why she axed two gigs in London earlier this month  - she fell over and lost a tooth.

The Rehab star postponed two gigs at the British capital’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire after she fell on her face while drunk and damaged her tooth.

“I broke a big tooth. I had a massive gap in the front of my mouth,” she says.

Jewish rapper Princess Superstar has teamed up with a group of German musicians to form a new group.

The electro-fused Lottergirls, will release their debut EP, Bonfini, in May.

An album, Right On, will follow later in the year.

Princess Superstar, who was born Concetta Kirschner, is best known in the UK for the 2002 hit Bad Babysitter.

Comedian Matt Lucas has hit the top of the UK charts with a charity version of the Proclaimers’ track I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles).

The song sees Lucas, as Little Britain alter ego Andy Pipkin, teaming up with comedian Peter Kay as well as the Proclaimers.

All proceeds from the track go to Comic Relief.
