Dame Edna Reveals Jewish Connection

Aussie chat show queen Dame Edna Everage has revealed she has a Jewish background.
In an interview with celebrity magazine Heat, the flamboyant alter ego of Barry Humphries said, in character, “I am partly Jewish.”
“With my background it was not spoken of, but I could play canaster without anyone teaching me, so I thought ‘well I must be Jewish!’ And I get on very well with North London people. I like the mix of scepticism and humour, and the intelligence of the average Red Sea pedestrian.”

Hollywood beauty Scarlett Johansson plans to go under the knife in a bid to avoid becoming an “old hag” - as she insists she has no problems with beauty-enhancing surgery.
The Lost In Translation star, who is the face of cosmetics giant L’Oreal, admits she isn’t afraid to use the surgery in the future to avoid growing old ungracefully.
