Stephen FryActor/writer Stephen Fry pleaded with a judge to delay a driving ban - so he could drive a car on screen without breaking the law.

The Gosford Park star was charged with speeding in May last year, but an immediate ban would have left TV bosses in turmoil, as his role in drama series Kingdom required him to drive a vintage Alvis motor.
