Larry David’s Outtake Clears Man and Wins Compensation

A man cleared of murder after he was spotted in the background of outtake footage of Larry David’s TV comedy Curb Your Enthusiasm has been awarded damages of $320,000.
Juan Catalan, 28, spent five months in jail charged with the murder of 16-year-old Martha Puebla until he used outtake footage - showing him at a LA Dodgers game in Los Angeles when the crime occurred - to prove his innocence.
Winehouse looks to have a G-A-Y old time

Having failed to complete a gig at London’s G-A-Y earlier this year, chart-topping jazz songstress Amy Winehouse will return next month.
The previous show ended abruptly after Winehouse was taken ill on stage midway through the set, and ran off stage to vomit.
The Brit award-winning singer did not want to let down her gay fans, however, and will take to the G-A-Y stage once again on April 14.

TV and film costumiers Angels has successfully auctioned off more than 400 costumes from their collection in a high-profile sale in London.
The company, which has been family run for five generations since Maurice Angel started it in 1840, raised over £200,000.
Among the highlights under the hammer were the cloak worn by Sir Alec Guinness in the first Star Wars film, which went for £54,000, and one of the outfits worn by Tom Baker when he starred as Dr Who.

Heavily pregnant actress Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott celebrated the opening of their newly-remodelled bed and breakfast in California on Saturday.
The inn, named Chateau La Rue in honour of Spelling’s pug Mimi La Rue, is located in Fallbrook, California - 100 miles south east of Los Angeles.
The former Beverly Hills, 90210 star and her husband will run the inn as part of their new reality show, Tori + Dean: Inn Love - and Spelling loves the new place.

Pope Benedict XVI has criticised his late predecessor Pope John Paul II’s decision to share the stage with American rocker Bob Dylan.
The current pontiff, who took over as head of the Roman Catholic Church following John Paul II’s death in 2005, believes rock music is the work of Satan and cancelled the annual Christmas pop concert at The Vatican last year.

Scarlett Johansson insists she has no idea why she is constantly labelled as sexy, because she thinks she looks like a boy.
Johansson’s Scoop director, Woody Allen, has said the actress is so attractive that she was “touched by God”, but Johansson says she doesn’t know what all the fuss is about.
She tells American publication Parade: “I think I look kind of like a boy. I mean, not my body, obviously.”
