Matt Lucas and David WalliamsLittle Britain stars Matt Lucas and David Walliams are to appear in an episode of hit Australian soap Neighbours.

The British comic duo are currently touring Australia and have already filmed the episode, in which they appear as their Little Britain characters Andy, a wheelchair-bound hoaxer and his unsuspecting carer Lou.

The Neighbours website reads: “Cast and crew were delighted to welcome Matt, David and the documentary team that are recording their tour experience Down Under.”

TeapacksIsrael’s controversial Eurovision entry may be disqualified from the song contest due to the political nature of its lyrics. Push The Button, by the offbeat rap band Teapacks, swept to victory in the country’s national final last week.

The song is said to be a response to Iran’s nuclear ambitions and its president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who has previously called for Israel to be “wiped off the map”. However, the rules of the contest state that “no lyrics, speeches or gestures of a political nature shall be permitted,” and that “a breach of this rule may result in disaqualification.

Beastie BoysJewish rap trio The Beastie Boys will be the main attraction at this summer’s Bestival music weekend on the Isle Of Wight.

The festival, which takes place from September 7-9, will mark the New Yorkers’ only live performance in the UK this year. They will also play a string of dates across Europe, visiting Portugal, Germany, France, Belgium and Poland.

Reformed British girl group All Saints have been dumped by their record label following poor sales of their comeback album Studio 1.

The Never Ever foursome signed to EMI’s Parlophone label last year after a five year hiatus and released their single Rock Steady in November.

When Studio 1 was released the same month, it entered the UK charts at a dismal number 40 - far below their last studio album Saints And Sinner, which hit the top of the album charts in 2000.
