Radio shock jock Howard Stern made St Valentine’s Day extra special for his longtime girlfriend Beth Ostrosky - by proposing to her.
The 53-year-old host told listeners of his Sirius Radio show that he had asked the model to marry him.
Stern recalled the proposal on his show, explaining he asked the 34-year-old model if she wanted her Valentine’s Day gift early and she said yes.

Director Darren Aronofsky refuses to make films he hasn’t written - because he can’t feel the same passion for a project that isn’t his own.
The PI filmmaker, who is the partner of Oscar winner Rachel Weisz, has turned down a number of big budget Hollywood blockbuster to dedicate his time to his own films, notably his latest effort The Fountain.

Legendary actress Lauren Bacall refuses to retire from filmmaking because working helps to keep her feeling vital.
The 82-year-old whose career spans over 60 years, keeps making films, but is not happy about the current state of the movie industry.
The actress born Betty Joan Perske explains, “I have too much energy to stop working and I don’t believe in retirement.” Bacall says making films “means to me mostly…staying alive.”
