Jewish Talent Shines At Grammy Awards

Jewish talent has triumphed at this year’s Grammy Awards, which were held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
Among the big winners was legendary producer Rick Rubin, who picked up several gongs for his work with country trio the Dixie Chicks. Their track Not Ready To Make Nice won the awards for Record Of The Year and Song Of The Year while their long-player Taking The Long Way was voted Album Of The Year as well as Best Country Album.

Hollywood couple Jerry Stiller and Anne Meara have been awarded a joint star on Hollywood’s legendary Walk Of Fame.
The pair – who have been married for over 50 years and are the parents of actor Ben Stiller – are only the fourth couple to receive such an honour and are the 2,328th Star.

Oscar winner Sir Ben Kingsley poured praise on Nazi hunter Simon Wiesenthal at the Berlin Film Festival yesterday at a premiere of a documentary about the Holocaust survivor.
Kingsley, who appears in the film, I Have Never Forgotten You: The Life And Legacy Of Simon Wiesenthal, told reporters he has nothing but respect for the Jew who spent over 50 years tracking down Nazi war criminals.
