Joan Rivers Offers To Do Your Spring Cleaning

Veteran comedienne Joan Rivers is to offer one lucky person the opportunity to let her polish their woodwork.
The 73-year-old star’s cleaning skills are being auctioned next month to raise money for AIDS charity The Terrence Higgins Trust.
Rivers will be joined by artist Tracey Emim and together they will make sure the winning person has a real spring clean for their home.
The Guillemots Go To Shul For New Album

British alternative rockers The Guillemots have converted an old shul into a recording studio which they hope will help them produce an album to break them into the US market.
The Brit nominees believe that the new studio has just the right vibe for them to record tracks even better their Annie, Let’s Not Wait hit.
“We’ve leased an old synagogue and we’re building a studio in it. It’s great. It’s such an amazing building,” said percussionist Greig Stewart.

Robert Downey JR has defended disgraced actor Mel Gibson following his anti-Semitic outburst during an arrest for drink-driving last year, arguing nobody’s perfect.
Downey Jr, who co-starred with Gibson in 1990’s Air America, believes the fallen Lethal Weapon star should be forgiven for his drunken outburst.
Gibson was stopped last July in Malibu, California for speeding and on suspicion of drink-driving when he launched into an anti-Semitic tirade.

British spongstress Amy Winehouse has refused to seek help for her dramatic weight loss, and insists getting professional advice for her problem is a “waste of time”.
The Frank hitmaker - who used to sport a fuller figure - has been the subject of much criticism over her slender seven stone (44.5 kilogram) frame, but is adamant she can sort her own lifestyle out without having to see a health advisor.
