Veteran British actress Maureen Lipman will be discussing her life and career on Wednesday night at north London’s ArtsDepot.
The 60-year-old actress, who was married to writer Jack Rosenthal who died in 2004 is best known for fronting a long running advertising campaign for British telephone company BT where she played Beattie, a Jewish mother character.

Legendary rock band Van Halen, which featured flamboyant frontman David Lee Roth for much of their successful career, are to be inducted into the Rock n’Roll Hall Of Fame.
A panel of 600 music experts nominated the band for the Hall of Fame. Other performers being inducted include REM and The Ronettes.
The ceremony will be held at New York’s Waldorf Astoria Hotel on March 12, and according to Rock n’Roll Hall Of Fame tradition, all artists will be expected to perform.

EastEnders hard man Robert Kazinsky has been suspended from the hit BBC soap for two months following sleazy online allegations about him in a Sunday tabloid.
The actor – who plays Sean Slater in the show, and also starred in a number of Israeli TV commercials – is said to have sent picture messages of his manhood to glamour model Aimi Robinson, with whom he was flirting online last year.
