Daniel Radcliffe on TVHarry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has revealed that he is a trainee Jewish wizard.

The 17-year-old told Australian TV channel Nine that while he has a Jewish connection, he does not follow a religion.

Radcliffe’s mother is casting director Marcia Gresham, while his grandmother is Patricia Jacobson.

“My mum was of Jewish blood and my dad was protestant,” he said.

Jonathan RotemThe music producer Britney Spears was romantically linked with is now developing his own reality show to capitalise on the publicity surrounding their relationship.

South African-born Jonathan ‘JR’ Rotem and Spears were photographed kissing and cuddling on 10 December in Los Angeles and have also collaborated on her new album.

The two haven’t been seen together since, but Rotem is now shopping around a reality TV show based on his life and recruiting a crew to help him shoot the pilot episode.

Veteran filmmaker Carl Reiner is to be made an Honorary Life Member by the Directors Guild Of America (DGA) at the organisation’s annual ceremony in February.

Reiner will collect his honour at the 59th DGA Awards on February 3 at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles.

The 84-year-old, best known for working on TV shows including The Dick Wan Dyke Show and for movies such as The Man With Two Brains, has hosted the annual event for the last 20 years.
