Queen Director Frears To Have Lunch At Buckingham Palace

The crew and members of the cast of critically acclaimed movie The Queen have been given the royal seal of approval from Queen Elizabeth II and have been invited to lunch at Buckingham Palace.
Director Stephen Frears has been asked to set aside a date for lunch by the Queen’s private secretary, Robin Janvrin.
Frears made a name for himself in the 1980s directing a number of cult indie hits including My Beautiful Laundrette, Sammy and Rosie Get Laid and Prick Up Your Ears.
Golem Get Their Kit Off For Jewish Fashion

Klezmer punk band Golem have shown what they are made of by wearing some gatkes produced by San Fran-based Jewish Fashion Conspiracy.
The band were in the Golden Gate Bridge city performing at Vodka Latka when during the show, lead frontman Aaron Diskin and frontwoman Annette Ezekiel put on the JFC Chanukah inspired underwear.
The frontage shows nun, gimmel, hay and shin just like on a dreidel while the reverse on the touches area displays the words ‘A great miracle happened here’.

Hollywood action man Steven Seagal is taking a short break from acting to spend some time with the guitar by pursuing his musical interests.
The Under Siege star is hoping to do a Bruce Willis and make a name for himself with his band Thunderbox and their latest release Mojo Priest.
The Blues flavoured album has been getting positive reviews in the States and Segal hopes to repeat his musical success with UK fans.
Penn To Get Berlin Honour

Revered moviemaker Arthur Penn is to receive the highest honour at next year’s Berlin Film Festival for his life’s work.
The Bonnie + Clyde director, 84, will be presented with the Golden Bear Award for Lifetime Achievement at the 10-day film event in February (07).
Festival director Dieter Kosslick insists Penn deserves the top film prize for helping to reshape Hollywood in the 1960s and 1970s.
Jerry Springer Still Dancing With The Stars

Talk show host Jerry Springer is to join the Dancing With The Stars tour after revealing he loved dancing on the hit TV programme so much he can’t get it out of his system.
Springer will take part in five cities in January. He starts on January 5 in Chicago, then January 7 sees him in Columbus, January 9 in Cleveland, January 17 in Cincinnati and January 21 in Nashville.
