Watch out for big things from our most favourite short Jewish folk-rocker Michelle Citrin.
She may be only five feet, but this 25-year-old gal can blast out pretty nifty tunes like If I Fall which is three minutes of sheer musical brilliance.
A tender tune, lovingly played on guitar with some thought provoking lyrics.
Aside from her musical talents, Brooklyn-based Citrin (originally from New Jersey) is also flowing with some nifty dreads on her head.
A number of British Jews have been recognised for their achievements and contribution to society in this year’s New Year Honours.
The former national chairman of the Association of Jewish Ex-Servicemen and Women has been made an MBE. Ronald Shelley, was recognised for his work for the group which supports Jewish soldiers as well as his contribution towards Jewish communal life.

Former Starsky and Hutch star Paul Michael Glaser is set to return to the small screen as a contestant on Channel 4’s Celebrity Big Brother.
The 63-year-old, who also appeared in the film musical Fiddler On The Roof as well as directing Arnold Schwarzenegger in The Running Man, is considered to be a real scoop by Channel 4 and is set to get over £100,000, most of it donated to an AIDS charity set up by his wife who died from the condition.

Chat show host Vanessa feltz is set to marry born again Christian singer Ben Ofoedu.
The 33-year-old former Phats + Small vocalist has been dating Feltz, 44, for a year and proposed to her at The Clarence - Dublin’s swanky hotel owned by U2’s Bono and The Edge.
Ofoedu put 50 red roses on the bed in the room the couple were staying in and went down on one knee before popping the question.

Singer Christina Aguilera and her music executive husband Jordan Bratman are planning to ring in the New Year in style and prove reports their one-year marriage is in trouble at the same time.
The couple are set to host a New Year’s Eve party at New York’s Hudson Hotel with a bunch of friends, according to sources, to end a trying year, which saw the pop superstar on the road and away from her man.

Scarlett Johansson has been named the Most Beautiful Celebrity Of All Time - thanks to her fresh-faced and youthful looks.
The Lost In Translation actress was voted into the top spot ahead of Kylie Minogue and Liv Tyler, with all three praised for their lack of over-the-top make-up of drastic cosmetic procedures by anti-ageing site HoldBackTime.com.
“These celebrities are so beautiful they don’t need to resort to heavy make-up or surgery,” said Tina Richards, a spokesperson for the site.

Former Dallas star Victoria Principal has officially divorced plastic surgeon husband Harry Glassman after 21 years of marriage.
Principal filed for divorce from Glassman in May, citing “irreconcilable differences”.
The 60-year-old actress, who played Pamela Ewing in the 1980s Texan oil drama, has reached a financial settlement over their $50 million joint assets.
Details of the settlement, which was filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday have not been disclosed.

Katie Price is set to release a diary of her day-to-day life in January 2008.
The diary, follows her successful autobiography and is set to include details of her relationship with family and friends including husband Peter Andre.
As well as her personal story, Price, better known as glam model Jordan is to release a follow-up to her novel Angel.

Funnyman Adam Sandler has brought some festive cheer to two teenage cancer sufferers - by giving them a sackful of festive goodies.
The 40-year-old Chanukah Song star sent a PlayStation 3 console, signed DVDs and clothing to Stephanie Hudson, 15, and her brother Kevin, 18, after an appeal was launched to raise money for the family by their New Hampshire hometown of Concord.

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott were engaged for the second time on Christmas day.
McDermott, who first proposed to the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star on 24 December last year, whisked Spelling off to Lake Ontario, Canada for the second engagement.
“We sat on a bench overlooking the lake and I gave Tori her last Christmas present (an antique platinum ring),” he says. “I’d wrapped the ring in a much bigger box, and as soon as she opened the ring box I asked her to marry me again. It was very romantic and magical.”

Actors Zach Braff and Jack Black are the top Jewish funnymen which women aged 25-35 would like to give their last kiss of 2006 to.
In an online survey, Braff came second overall and Black came fourth overall in a list of funnymen women would like a smooth with.
Jim Carrey came top with 28% of the vote, followed by Braff tying with Johnny Knoxville at 21.6%, Will Ferrell commanded 20% of the votes with Black claiming 8.8%.

The 34-year-old actress, who also made a name for herself by playing a Las Vegas entertainer in Showgirls, took part in the annual Gilda’s Club Worldwide Holiday Fundraising Raffle and online auction which provides emotional and social supporter for people with cancer.

TV and radio presenter Vanessa Feltz claims she can’t get enough ”titillating” texts from bohemian stand-up comic Russell Brand.
“He sends me a series of very suggestive text messages,” Feltz told The Jewish Chronicle. “I’ve been a great fan and friend — and the recipient of many titillating texts from him which I thoroughly enjoy receiving, long may they continue.”
Like, her current partner born-again Christian Ben Ofoedu, Brand is much younger than Feltz. He’s 31, she’s 44.
