Mel BrooksVeteran comedy writer and producer Mel Brooks has spoken out about the death in June 2005 of wife Anne Bancroft, confessing every day without her is “very hard”.

The Hollywood couple were married for 40 years before actress Bancroft died of cancer and The Producers mastermind admits he’s struggling to cope with his grief.

Written by Guest and American Pie’s Eugene Levy, the film focuses on the production of low-budget movie Home For Purim, a drama set in the 1940s in which the Pischers, a Jewish family from America’s Deep South gather at their dying mother’s bedside on the occasion of her favourite festival.

Lucie In The Sky With New Album

Lucie SilvasSexy songstress Lucie Silvas who shoot to fame with her single Breathe In from the album of the same name is back with a new album - The Same Side.

The 29-year-old born Lucie Silverman was born in the UK but moved to New Zealand, at the age of 16, she moved back to the UK and became a backing vocalist. Eventually she gained her own recording deal but success was not found initially.

Culture Club Tour Postponed

Jon MossCulture Club featuring its original Jewish drummer Jon Moss but without Moss’ former boyfriend and band frontman Boy George have cancelled their much talked about UK concert tour that was due to start on December 7.

The band say they need more time to prepare for a tour and that it will also take place when a new single is released in 2007.
