Top Jewish Brits In America

Two British-born Jews, comedian Sacha Baron Cohen and philanthropy co-ordinator Roger Bennett have been rated among the 50 most influential Jews living in America according to Jewish newspaper The Forward.
35-year-old Baron Cohen, who made a name for himself as wannabe gangster rapper Ali G from Staines and more recently Kazakhstan TV reporter Borat is highly rated by The Forward. It says: “With his newest smash hit, he’s ratcheted things up a level, opening a national dialogue on prejudice. And early reports suggest that he’s now considered the funniest Jew in America.”
Young Frankenstein Goes To Broadway

Mel Brooks’ classic parody on Frankenstein, Young Frankenstein is to make it to New York’s Broadway for a 2007 Halloween opening night which will star original big screen actress Cloris Leachman reprising her role for the stage.
In the 1974 version, Leachman, now 80, starred as Frau Blucher alongside Gene Wilder who appeared in the lead role.
For the Broadway version, Leachman will be the only original cast to appear.
The last time there was a Jew in a boyband was back in the late 90s when Northern Line were destined for all things amazing, but that was then and this is now and Northern Line, ended up… well, somewhere lost in the charts and we can’t even remember who that bloke was in the band, but he was Jewish.
