Mr Gay Israel, Nathan Shaked, has been named the winner of the international Mr Gay Competition 2007. The 37-year-old, from Tel Aviv, wins a modelling contract, a Caribbean cruise, and a trip to Puerto Vallarta in Mexico.
The event, which took place in Palm Springs, California, saw more than a dozen countries take part in the competition.
Shaked beat other men from countries including Ireland, Australia, Norway, Poland and Italy. First runner-up was USA, while Netherlands were 2nd runners-up.

Boris Johnson best known for mixing a career around being the editor of The Spectator, newspaper columnist, TV presenter and politician has finally been outed - as someone with Jewish origins.
The British MP for Henley, who was born in New York, counts on his Jewish background a Rabbi Mordecai Eliasberg, the Jewish Chronicle reported.
Other ancestors include a great-great-grandfather from Moscow who was a silk merchant.

Comedy legend Mel Brooks is coming to London for a special one-off event in aid of Leukaemia Research.
The 80-year-old who went from Catskills stand-up to Hollywood star will be in town on November 15 at the Criterion Theatre, where he will headline “An audience with Mel Brooks” and appear with the BBC’s creative director Alan Yentob.
The charity hopes to raise more than £100,000 from the event.

Prim and proper English actress Helena Bonham Carter has revealed that she’s not really the English rose people think she is.
Speaking on BBC Breakfast, the 40-year-old, who is promoting the Jewish coming of age film Sixty Six, talked about her role as a breakthrough for the Jewish side of her family.
It transpires that Bonham Carter has not only a Jewish mother but also maternal grandmother, who converted to Catholicism on her marriage.

Speculation is mounting that an unprecedented number of Jewish stars are being lined for this year’s I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here.
The hit ITV show, set in the Australian jungle, previously featured Jewish celebs including All Saints Natalie Appleton, spoon bender Uri Geller, model Katie Price aka Jordan and ex-Blue singer Antony Costa.
With appearance fees of £100,000 at stake, it is one of the most lucrative jobs to get on TV.

Culture Club’s Jon Moss has hit back on his former bandmate and lover Boy George claiming that the band’s lead singer has been bad mouthing him for years.
In an interview with the Associated Press, Moss, 49, said the ex-Culture Club front man’s claim that Moss was “ashamed” of their relationship was not true.
