Grammy Award-winning producer Mark Ronson is celebrating after becoming an American citizen.
The 32-year-old, who was born in the U.K. but spent a lot of time in New York while he was growing up, is pleased he’ll be able to vote in this year’s US presidential election.
Ronson, who won the Best Producer - Non-Classical prize at Sunday’s Grammy ceremony, told People.com: “I actually just got my American citizenship. I wanted to be able to vote in this election - that’s why I got it.”

Sex And The City star Sarah Jessica Parker is set to lend her name to an upcoming reality TV competition for aspiring artists.
Pretty Matches, the actress’ production firm, has teamed up with the producers behind hit US reality programmes Top Chef and Project Runway for a series that will see 12 visual artists tackle different disciplines - such as sculpting and painting - for the chance to win a gallery show, cash prize and a sponsored tour around the US.

Comedy legend Mel Brooks has given up on love at the age of 81.
Brooks has been single since Anne Bancroft, his wife of 41 years, died in 2005 - and he is now happy to concentrate on his family, friends and career.
He said: “Nothing’s worse than an old Jew dating. You really think I could listen to somebody ask me, ‘What’s your sign?’ Absolutely not dating. I have grandchildren, dear friends, my show - that’s all I want.”

Super producer Mark Ronson has lashed out at the British tabloids for upsetting his longterm girlfriend over false reports he’s having an affair with Amy Winehouse.
The 32-year-old - who produced the troubled singer’s last album Back To Black - has been accused of spending the night with Winehouse at K West Hotel in London, after the pair were photographed leaving the swanky establishment on Friday.

The Coen brothers’ No Country For Old Men is leading this year’s British Academy of Film and Television Arts (Bafta) nominations.
No Country for Old Men scooped five nominations including Best Film and Best Director. Tommy Lee Jones was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Sheriff Ed Tom Bell.
The awards will be handed out at a ceremony London’s Royal Opera House, London on February 10.
