The British answer to US financial guru Alvin Hall could soon be crossing the pond to educate Americans about their personal finance.
Martin Lewis, the self-styled Money Saving Expert, who also runs the website of the same name with over 600,000 people on his email newsletter is said to be a major draw for US TV bosses.
His book, The Money Diet has been a major hit along with a primetime TV series Make Me Rich.
“Martin is passionate about personal finance and his approach has appealed to a couple of the networks in the States,” said a TV insider. “Everyone was impressed with his Make Me Rich series and the format has been looked at for reworking in the US market.”
