Van Halen Postpone Reunion Tour

David Lee RothThe Van Halen reunion tour featuring the return of former lead singer David Lee Roth has been postponed indefinitely.

Tickets for the 40-date tour, which was announced on the band’s website on 2 February , were expected to go on sale this weekend.

However, a source close to the band tells USA Today the tour has been put on hold, but declined to give a reason for the delay.

A publicist for says reports of a cancellation should be not be taken as fact until an official statement is released.

Earlier this month, Roth said he hoped the band’s reunion would last beyond their summer tour.

Regardless of future tour plans, Van Halen will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on 12 March. The ceremony could feature Van Halen performing with both Roth and his replacement, Sammy Hagar.

Okay, this is getting nucking futs. I am so dissapointed! When will the members of Van Halen realize that (without knowing the exact details of THIS time’s quits) it’s not about their egos or their pocketbooks, but it’s really all about the people (fans) and the music! I have been so hopeful that there will be a Halen-Roth reunion over the past few years as it’s been touch-and-go but I’m now
officially off the alert. I’ve been teased and duped too many times.

You guys are really letting us down, because you’re all really GOOD entertainers and you make awesome music.
    Such a shame.
