Jewish Museum Gets Royal Approval From Prince Charles

Prince Charles is to become Patron of Camden’s Jewish Museum as it celebrates its 75th anniversary this year and will be touring the museum on Tuesday with his wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.
The appointment of Prince Charles to the north west London museum marks his first patronage of a Jewish organisation that is focused on work in the UK.
As part of the tour, Charles and Camilla will see a special exhibition of Polish Jewish doctor Janusz Korczak as well as seeing a number of galleries including History and Religion.
Children from a local school will also meet with the members of the Royal Family.
“We are honoured and privileged that His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales has most graciously agreed to be our Patron for this anniversary year,” said director of the Jewish Museum Rickie Burman. “It is a welcome recognition of the Museum’s importance in highlighting the heritage of one of Britain’s oldest minority communities and in contributing to interfaith understanding and dialogue.”
