North London’s Arts Depot is to play host to a new production of classic Jewish musical Fiddler On The Roof next month.
The show – which follows the fortunes of Tevye the milkman and his five daughters in 19th Century Russia and includes the classic songs Tradition, Sunrise Sunset and If I Were A Rich Man – will run from March 21-25.
It is being performed by the Impact Theatre Company and the production is being directed by its founder, actress Amanda Noar.
Noar, who appeared alongside Topol in the West End revival of Fiddler On the Roof in 1986, founded Impact 11 years ago. The company, which features many Jewish performers, is made up of amateurs, drama students and resting actors.
Evening performances of the show are at 8pm, with matinees on Saturday and Sunday.
