Refaeli Raises The Bar For Israeli Tourism

Sexy Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli has flown to London to represent Israel at the World Travel Market.
The 21-year-old girlfriend of Hollywood star Leonardo DiCaprio was invited on the request of Israel’s Minister of Tourism Isaac Herzog to be at the trade show which opens today.
Over the last few years, Refaeli has graced catwalks across the world as well as covers on some of the most prestigious fashion magazines around.
But not everyone agrees she should be the best face to front such a show for Israel.
According to Ynetnews, “Sources within the tourism industry have expressed their concerns over the participation of the young model as she evaded her compulsory army service in favor of her career.”.
But Tourism boss Herzog was having none of that: “Bar is a leading Israeli brand name,” he said.
Evading army service is not only against the law, it is
also a serious character flaw; not sharing the risks and sacrifices. Such people are also problematic in
other ways, as for example, Rafaeli’s disparaging remarks during her last visit here. Minister Hertzog could and should have found an attractive Israeli
model who not only served in the army but is also
more cultured and intelligent that Ms. Rafaeli.
