BBC TV news presenters Tim Franks and Katya Adler will be taking on new roles as they move from their current BBC jobs to working at the broadcasting giant’s Jerusalem bureau.
Franks moves from being a roving European Union correspondent, while Adler leaves Madrid for the Middle East.
Franks, who was born in Birmingham, joined the BBC in 1990.
Prior to working at the BBC, Adler, born in London to German parents has worked for a number of broadcasters across Europe.
More recently, she has taken a number of one-off assignments in the Middle East which is likely to have interested her in working in the region full-time.
