Superproducer Mark Ronson was so excited to see Myspace.com founder Tom Anderson presenting a prize at the US NME Awards, he rushed onto the stage and promptly fell off.
The Valerie hitmaker received the Best New Indie/Alternative Solo Artist at last month’s ceremony in Los Angeles, but he was more excited at seeing Anderson in the flesh.
And Ronson admits he was so desperate to meet the social networking site’s president, he managed to embarrass himself in front of the whole audience.
He said: “I got pretty drunk and ran on stage while Tom was presenting some award to the whogivesas**ts. I fell into the stage curtain, and decided to stay down for a while until I regained a fraction of my pride.”
