Ronson Files Lawsuit Against Lawyers

Super producer Mark Ronson’s sister Samantha Ronson has filed a lawsuit against her former attorneys, after the firm sued her for unpaid legal fees.
Law firm Davis + Gilbert filed suit against the DJ in December (07) alleging they were never paid for helping her fight and lose a lawsuit against celebrity blogger Perez Hilton - after he accused her of being the owner of cocaine found in Lohan’s car following the actress’ car accident in Los Angeles in May.
They claimed she owed them $165,000, according to TMZ.com.
But Ronson is now fighting back, launching her own lawsuit against the company - accusing the lawyers of grossly overcharging her for their services.
The 30-year-old claims she received one invoice for $99,000 for a two-month period, even though she claims the firm said the entire case would not cost more than $75,000. She also accuses the firm of not fighting her case against Hilton properly - citing a conflict of interest over the unpaid fees.
Ronson has also relaunched her lawsuit against Hilton with a new attorney. The original case was thrown out of court in November and Ronson was ordered to pay the celebrity blogger almost $85,000 in fees.
