Shia LaBeouf was left dumbstruck after meeting Harrison Ford for the first time - because the veteran actor showed up in a helicopter.
LaBeouf, 21, who plays Ford’s sidekick in new movie Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull, met the star on the first day of stunt rehearsals at a US air force base in Alamogordo, New Mexico.
And the extravagant introduction to his co-star is one he insists he will never forget.
“I’m told that Harrison Ford will be showing up. Suddenly we hear a massive ‘whoosh’ and everyone looks to the sky,” he says. “A helicopter lands in the middle of the base and out comes Harrison Ford. Everyone there, 50 stuntmen, stop what they’re doing and stare. And he waves to everyone, walks around and from the glove compartment pulls out the whip. It was the most cinematic thing I’ve ever seen not on a movie set. And this was how I first met Harrison Ford.”
