Johnny Depp has likened funnyman Sacha Baron Cohen to legendary comedian and fellow Jew Peter Sellers.
The Hollywood actor stars in new movie Sweeny Todd alongside Baron Cohen and admits he was impressed by the Borat star.
“He (Baron Cohen) was not what I expected. He’s incredibly nice. A real gentleman, kind of elegant. He’s kind of today’s equivalent of Peter Sellers,” Depp said.
Sellers - who died in 1980 - was famed for his roles in 1964’s Dr Strangelove and as Inspector Clouseau in The Pink Panther films.
